A.C.C.B.L. 3-VS-3 SUMMER 2007 BASIC RULES & REGULATIONS BASIC 3-VS-3 LEAGUE RULES & REGS:        The first 16 teams that sign up will complete each Age Group, so EARLY SIGN UP is encouraged.         Team rosters must include 5 players.        3 Age Groups; players must be 10-12, 13-15 or 16-18 as of June 3, 2007.        16 teams max. in each Age Group.        Match-ups/Brackets will be determined after sign-ups are completed, and prior to the first day of league games.        Tentative format: Semifinals (Playoffs) will have the 8 top teams play off. The 2 surviving teams in each Age Group will play for the Championship.         The tentative format guarantees that each team will play 18 games.         Games will be 15 minutes long running time.         Each team gets one 60-second timeout per game. No other clock stoppage will take place, except for substitution or by league official or court monitor.        Points will be scored by 2’s and 3’s, and only flagrant fouls will be called, in the judgement of the court monitor, resulting in one free-throw.        At least 3 registered team members must be present at a team’s game start time, otherwise they forfeit.        Dress code: All players must wear sports shorts(no cut-off jeans or pants) and league t-shirt. Players will not be allowed to tear sleeves off of t-shirts.        Teams and/or players may be disqualified at the discretion of the tourney officials for poor sportsmanship, rule violation or use of unregistered player(s).        Registration Fee is $65 per player. MONEY ORDER or CASH payment is due (by mail)by May 25, 2007 or (in-person)by June 3, 2007 at Hoop-A-Thon.        All forms must be signed by parent or guardian, except players 18 years of age. Forms and payments for all 5 team members must be submitted together.        Team sign-up fees are non-refundable.        Parents or respected adults are encouraged to volunteer as Coaches/Court Monitors.
